MASTERS JOINS IN ON THE FUN
Australian Speedway World Cup Star Sam Masters has thrown his hat in the ring to take out the 2016 GT Onsite Windscreens Phil Crump Solo Trophy on Friday October the 28th at Olympic Park Speedway.
The Newcastle man has just capped off his best ever European Speedway Season, Masters represented his country in the Speedway World Cup Final this year putting in a solid performance against great company. He also just won the Elite League Title with the Wolverhampton Wolves on Wednesday night so he is in a rich vein of form.
Masters was the Wildcard at the 2015 Australian Speedway Grand Prix and will again be in the years event as a replacement for his fellow Newcastle resident Jason Doyle.
Mildura race fans will be very familiar with what Sam is capable of having seen him numerous times over the last few years racing at the Olympic Park track.
Masters joins three times World Champion Jason Crump, World under 21 Champion Max Fricke and local stars Justin Sedgmen and Cameron Woodward in one of the hottest fields ever produced for the Phil Crump Solo trophy.
