LEMO JOINS 70TH WEEKEND Merbein Native Mark Lemon is the second solo legend that will be back in action to join the Mildura Motorcycle Club 70th Anniversary meeting on Sunday November the 5th. Lemo had a very successful 20 plus year career racing in europe racing for a number of clubs in England, Sweeden and Poland. Lemon was a three time Victorian Speedway Champion and rode in many Australian Championships with a career best second in 2000 behind Leigh Adams and infront of former Grand Prix riders Jason Lyons and Todd Wiltshire. The current Australian Speedway Team Manager retired at the end of the 2014 speedway season and had a memorable Farewell meeting at Olympic Park where he shown he still had what it takes to beat the young bucks around his home track. Lemo joins Travis McGowan as the first to starters of the solo legends category.
