Three times World Champ to race in Lyons Trophy
Australia’s greatest ever speedway export local three time World Speedway Champion Jason Crump is coming back to Olympic Park Speedway Mildura on Saturday November 10th to ride in the 2018 Jason Lyons Solo Trophy. In what could be his last competitive race appearance at Olympic Park, Mildura race fans will have the pleasure of seeing the former World Champion in full race mode one more time. Don’t be mistaken the former World Champ may be semi retired but his still got what it takes to take out his former Australia and Belle Vue teammates trophy but will come up from stiff opposition in former Australia two Justin Sedgmen, Australian Under 21 Champion Jaimon Lidsey and International stars England’s Zach Wajtknecht and Danish brothers Jonas and Mikkel Andersen.
Mildura Motorcycle Club Co-Ordinator Ryan Sedgmen added “The opportunity to get Jason again was to good to refuse he was going to be in Mildura with bikes so we had to have him. He’s Australia’s greatest ever solo racer and a local what more can you want. He may be semi retired but in he’s last appearance at Olympic Park in 2016 he registered the fastest time of the night a meeting that featured Sam Masters, Max Fricke and Michael Jepsen Jensen.” For more information regarding November’s massive month of International solo racing in Mildura visit www.milduramotorcycleclub.org.au or visit the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pg/mmccspeedway
