British Champion coming to Mildura

In a huge coup for the Mildura Motorcycle Club the 2019 British Speedway Champion and British Speedway Grand Prix Wildcard Charles Wright is heading to Olympic Park Speedway Mildura on Saturday November 16th for the GT Bar & Bistro Jason Lyons Solo Trophy and the Robinson Plumbing Mildura International Solo Masters on Friday November 29th. Wright is a genuine world class performer racing for the Peterborough Panthers in the British Premiership League and the Redcar Bears alongside local star Jordan Stewart in the British Championship League. The 30 year old star won his first British Speedway Chanpionship in fine style earning a spot as the wildcard at the British Speedway Grand Prix where he collected 5 points and beat some of the world best riders. Massive thanks to Ian Sinderson from ATPI Sports Travel for making it all possible alongside Jordan Stewart. Speaking ahead of Wright’s much anticipated appearance Mildura Motorcycle Club Solo Rep Ryan Sedgmen added “ Our plan was to give the fans some world class solo action this summer and build on from last season and we are well and truly doing that with the signing of Charles. He is a world class performer with a exciting style and rides the boards as good as anyone and we are thoroughly looking forward to seeing him in action. Thanks to Ian Sinderson from ATPI for his generous support towards our club”. November is the month for International Solo action at Olympic Park Speedway Mildura and Charles joins Dan Bewley, Tom Brennan and Kyle Bickley as the clubs confirmed international riders with more to come!
