COOMEALLA MEMORIAL SPORTING CLUB AGM
The Mildura Motorcycle Club’s major sponsor Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club had it AGM last week the and they too are celebrating their 70th anniversy. It was really nice to read this note from their President’s report to their AGM.
“Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club attracted and supported many sporting events throughout the year including the Ted Hurley Ski Race along both the Darling and Murray Rivers, Tri State Golf Tournament, Intra Club annual events, football under li…ghts at George Gordon oval on Good Friday, Wentworth Show and many Mildura Motorcycle Club events. Mildura Motorcycle Club was formed the same year as our club and conducted race meetings back then as fundraisers to help fund our club’s beginnings. Congratulations Mildura Motorcycle Club on your 70th Anniversary. We also financially supported many local sporting teams with equipment or uniforms as well as individuals who were selected to represent their sport at State, National or International level.”
The Mildura Motorcycle Club and the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club has had a very special relationship for 70 years. The members and friends of the MMCC would like to congratulate the Coomealla Memorial Sporting club on the fantastic achievment in reaching 70 years. We would especially like to thank the Coomy Club for their fantastic support of our club and the support to a wide range of local community organisations and events.
