TEST GLORY IN MILDURA
Olympic Park Speedway Mildura will burst into life this Saturday night November 24th when the STE Engineering Team Australia take on the ATPI Rest of the World Side in a International Solo test Match.
In what is a huge coup for the Mildura Motorcycle Club riders From Australia, Denmark and England will battle it out over 15 heats to the lift the Robinson Plumbing Trophy.
The Team Australia line up is lead by 2017 Australian Speedway Champion Sam Masters who will also Captain the side, Local stars Jaimon Lidsey, Justin Sedgmen and Jordan Stewart plus Queensland’s Zaine Kennedy, New South Wales Josh MacDonald and South Australia’s Robert Medson.
The Australian team will be doing all in there power to take home the trophy on there home turf but will face some stiff opposition  from the International riders.
ATPI Travel Rest of the World side is lead by Denmarks Matias Nielsen and Kenneth Jurgenson, England’s Zach Wajtknecht, Tom Brennan and Kyle Bickley.
Dual International Rob Branford captains the Rest of the World side, the only Australian in the side is Kurri Kurri’s Mason Campton who has been drafted in as a late replacement.
Wajtknecht  and Brennan particularly impressed last time out at the Jason Lyons Trophy mixing it and beating some of the top Australian Internationals.
Mildura Motorcycle Club Solo Rep Ryan Sedgmen added ” To bring International riders back to Mildura has been a big goal for the club this year. Some of the racing at the Jason Lyons Trophy was the best the club has seen in years. To throw in a international test match as well is the icing on the cake and we hope the fans come out in numbers to support the Aussies particularly the local boys representing there country.”
Support classes include a Young Guns Solo Test Match sponsored by MACU Kitchens and Prestige Edging, Modern Sidecars lead by local stars Byren Gates and Neale Hancock and a crowd favourite the bikes from yesteryear the classic sidecars.
Full Junior Speedway support program with the 125cc solos running through the night with the senior riders.
A Dash for Cash will run before the main event where riders from Australia and the Rest of the World will do one flying lap to take home the cash.
Gates open at 5pm, Parade starts at 7pm, Dash for Cash at 7.15pm and main racing from 7.30pm for more information visit www.milduramotorcycleclub.org.au
