ENGLISH INVASION
Two more young British Speedway Stars will converge on Olympic Park Speedway Mildura and Gillman Speedway Stadium in Adelaide during November.
Reigning British Under 19 Speedway Champion Zach Wajtknecht and Eastbourne Eagles young charger Tom Brennan are making the trip down under, thanks to Ian Sinderson from ATPI Travel for making it all happen and sending some of England’s exciting talent down under.
Wajtknecht rides for the Swindon Robins in the British Premiership league and for the Lakeside Hammers in the British Championship league, he is regarded as one of England’s top young riders having won the British under 19 Championship in 2018 and being a vital part of England’s under 21 World Cup team that claimed bronze earlier this year.
Brennan is relatively new to the speedway scene but has showed rapid improvement this year racing for the Eastbourne Eagles in the British National League, Brennan averages a tidy 8.24 points a meeting and is a European Under 19 Finalist.
Wajtknecht and Brennan join Kyle Bickley as confirmed Internationals coming to Australia, unfortunately Dan Bewley and Jack Smith have been ruled out due to injury.
Stay tuned there’s still a few more World Class International riders wishing to make the trip to Australia and both clubs are hoping to confirm them in the next few weeks.
